About Us
PR Soup™ is a collaborative blog and product of the Austin, Texas creative entrepreneurial community. Seasoned PR pros LuAnn Glowacz (WordCove™), Dana Marruffo (Buzz Public Relations, LLC), Christine Cox (ChristineCox|PR), and Andrea Schulle (As Such Communications) co-founded the blog in 2010, originally as The PR Channel, to help business leaders better understand how public relations and marketing principals can improve business.
LuAnn, Christine and Andrea blog and speak regularly for PR Soup, backed by decades of experience working with, and for, PR agencies, Fortune 1000 companies, B2B/B2C technology, government and non-profit organizations. We’re also “Austinpreneurs” who each bring a unique style to this blog; styles that are a bit more frank, unconventional, innovative, and refreshingly practical. Here, entrepreneurs, solopreneurs and small business owners will learn industry secrets. We’re serving up inspiration for new ideas, trending topics, traditional analysis and advice, and frank discussions that bust PR misnomers and myths. We won’t talk over your head and we won’t be talking shop with other PR pros. Instead, it’s our commitment to show you—the business leader—how to harness your own PR instincts in order to exponentially improve your business’ competitive edge.
Additionally, some of the best minds in communications and social engagement will be given a voice here. Friends and fellow Austinpreneurs will guest blog on topics ranging from how to write a press release to social location; marketing to typography; pitching the media to standing out in your field. They’re our coffee shop colleagues involved in the Austin Social Media Club, Freelance Austin, Austin Content Marketing Meet-Up, Austin Entrepreneurs Network and other leading communications groups in Austin. Among them are book authors, Fortune 500 company department executives and highly sought-after speakers and consultants.
The power of a good public relations campaign cannot be underestimated in helping your business gain a competitive edge. Use PR Soup to create your own recipe for success.
